Samuel Davis

I joined Chambers as a tenant in 2018, and am now developing a busy and growing practice. Before coming to the bar, I held a wide-ranging role at a leading litigation firm in London where I worked on a number of complex and high-value commercial cases. My clients appreciate my attention to detail and ability to assimilate complex information, as well as my pragmatic advice.

I am now regularly instructed to advise on civil and family matters or draft pleadings, and am able to provide advice at all stages of a case, from pre-action through to trial, the assessment of costs and enforcement.

I have particular expertise in dealing with landlord and tenant and commercial contract matters and am regularly instructed by solicitors and insurers on fast track and multi-track cases.

My recent civil experience includes property and land issues, injunctive relief, personal injury claims and contract disputes. I also have a particular interest in representing clients at cost management hearings.

Before embarking on my legal career, I helped set-up and run two companies, experience which gives me insight into the needs and concerns of my commercial clients. I fully understand the pressures of business and am happy to work to tight timescales when urgent matters arise.

I also represent clients in proceedings in the family court and have experience of dealing with the Children Act and Financial Remedy proceedings.
