Christian Fox

I have been practicing in Chambers since becoming a tenant in 2021.

My previous role was legal counsel at a property management company in central London. As a result, I am experienced in a range of commercial matters and property matters including commercial and residential landlord and tenant issues. I have also been a dairy farmer and a soldier.

I have experience of contractual disputes, company director disputes and nuisance.  I am able to advise you before you commence proceedings to ensure you are able to plan ahead, understand the implications of all stages of litigation and can get best value from representation in court.

Property and Land Law

I regularly act for both landlords and tenants. I have experience of breaches of lease, unlawful eviction and service charge disputes. In commercial property I have experience of disputes involving break clauses, rent charges and dilapidations.

I have experience with rights of way, easements and other property rights which can be long-standing, complex and legally challenging.

I am always available for a short zoom meeting to see what scope there may be for a simple solution to your problem.

Condemnation & Cash Forfeiture

I have a wide range of experience in this area of law, which can seem daunting and unclear to a lay person.

I have acted for both the Home Office and individuals or companies who have had goods or cash seized at our borders. Where the goods or cash seized were for a legitimate purpose, I can assist in helping you prepare the evidence you need to best effect and then represent you in court.

I also have experience of appeals in this area, particularly with secondary seizure (often a vehicle seized with the goods) and goods seized on export for being “dual use”.
